Support

Over time a site's effectiveness will degrade. A number of factors cause this such as shifts in technology or standards of use, competitor improvements or just simply time itself. Actively supporting a web presence prevents this performance loss. Updates and improvements can assure continued performance gains.

Existing websites: Supporting an existing website can take many forms. This can range from occasional content or search engine optimization (SEO) updates to near-constant edits, improvements and new feature rollouts. The older a site is the more likely will occasionally 'break' or act inconsistently. As a website nears the end of its lifecycle this can become a common affair.

Website updates: The most common update requests are for text and graphic content. Others include updating a site's 'look and feel' or user interface (UI) to accurately reflect an evolving company. There are also technology and compatability updates to resolve new-generation web browser (Firefox, Safari, Explorer, etc.) incompatabilities.

Website improvements: Site improvements or enhancements usually center around performance of one sort or another. The most commn requests are for SEO, better conversion rates, user-centered design or experience improvements or adding new features and services.

Most forms of support can be accomplished seemlessly, without any downtime or interruption of service.

Options

Some existing sites need very litte ongoing support, and can be fully maintained with just a few hours per week or per month. Some see near-constant updates and modifications, requiring a more active approach. Regardless of where on the spectrum a particular site is, a reasonable support plan is available.
