Course: Advanced Web Design
This course is the culmination of the MultiMedia program's web design core. It brings together all prior classes and skills to craft unique and highly functional online applications. Advanced CSS layout techniques are combined with server-side scripting and Dreamweaver 8 to create dynamic, database-driven websites.
Course: Instructor Workshop
To assist students with both the design & development challenges of regular classes & projects, an Instructor Workshop is offered as course load allows. This is an excellent opportunity for students to get help, & exceed course requirements.
Course: Web Animation2
Students will have the opportunity to extend their previous knowledge on object-oriented animation using Macromedia® Flash. They will also have the opportunity to learn how to create web-based entertainment using advanced Action Scripting. This focus provides students the control to fully enhance the web user’s experience.
Course: Web Page Design
The focus of this course is the use of CSS layout and styling to create and maintain beautiful, fully-functioning sites. User Interface design, navigational theory, functionality, templates, javascript and animation skills are employed. The vehicle for this is Dreamweaver 8 and the driving requirement is cross-browser integrity.
Course: Web Programming
Students will have the opportunity to continue to strengthen their background in website design, interactivity, CSS and JavaScript. They will also be introduced to multiple server environments where they will create dynamic web- based applications using PHP.
Course: Web Site Development
